B&B TOOLS acquires electromechanical service company

B&B TOOLS Corporate Action B&B TOOLS acquires electromechanical service company Momentum Industrial AB (“Momentum”), part of the B&B TOOLS Group, entered into an agreement today to acquire all shares in Carl A Nilsson AB (“CAN”). CAN is a comprehensive service company specialising in electromechanical services and sales for the industrial sector in southern Sweden. CAN generates annual revenue of approximately MSEK 20 and has 13 employees. CAN offers electromechanical services and sales of related products (electric motors, gear boxes and pumps) in the region of Skåne in southern Sweden, with a workshop in Helsingborg. “Carl A Nilsson is a well-established company with a high level of expertise and competitive offerings in electromechanical service in a highly attractive market,” says Ulf Lilius, President & CEO of B&B TOOLS. “Through the acquisition of Carl A Nilsson, we are now furthering strengthening Momentum’s offering in electromechanics by adding a successful business with good opportunities for further development.” Closing is scheduled for 1 September 2015. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on B&B TOOLS’ earnings per share during the current financial year.
