Bergman & Beving has today acquired all shares in Itaab Trading AB. The company is the leading manufacturer and supplier of metal suspended ceilings in Sweden. Customers are primarily installers of ceilings for new construction and renovations of mainly public properties. The company has a turnover of approximately MSEK 75 with good profitability.

”Itaab is the leading player in metal suspended ceilings on the Swedish market. Most of the sales are prescribed by architects, where Itaab is known as a flexible player with the highest quality in design and execution. Our main focus will be to continue growing the company's successful business”, says Mats Gullbrandsson, Division Head Building Materials.

”We are pleased to have Bergman & Beving as the new owner of Itaab, given the Bergman & Beving's long history of developing companies in the Swedish construction sector”, say the previous owners Erik and Angelica Byström.

Itaab will be part of the Building Materials division and the closing takes place immediately. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on Bergman & Beving's earnings per share during the current fiscal year.
