Bergman & Beving acquires Levypinta

01.10.2024

Bergman & Beving has today acquired all shares in Levypinta Finland Oy. The company manufactures and sells bespoke high-quality boards coated with HPL (high pressure laminate) to manufacturers of special furniture, whose interior design is primarily used in Finnish and Swedish public properties such as schools and hospitals. The company has 23 employees and is located in Oulu, Finland and Värnamo, Sweden. Levypinta has a turnover of approximately MEUR 16 with good profitability.

"Levypinta is a leading player in its niche in Finland and Sweden. The company has an efficient and flexible production with a wide assortment of customized high-quality laminate. In conjunction with the ability to deliver limited order quantities on short lead times, this sets the company apart on the market in a manner which is appreciated by its customers”, says Mats Gullbrandsson, Head of Division Core Solutions.

"We are happy to have Bergman & Beving as new owner. Given the Group’s extensive experience to run similar businesses in the Nordic region, we are looking forward to developing the company together”, says CEO Juha Uusitalo.

Levypinta will be part of the Division Core Solutions and closing will take place with immediate effect. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on Bergman & Beving’s earnings per share during the current fiscal year.
