Sustainability

Sustainability is a prerequisite for long-term competitiveness. We aim to be a positive force for sustainable development, with solutions that improve safety, productivity and assist with long-term value creation for Bergman & Beving's stakeholders.

Responsibility across the value chain

As a proponent of sustainable development, we take responsibility for the way in which our businesses reach their profitability goals. This responsibility spans the entire value chain – from product development and purchasing to the end of the product’s life cycle.

Sustainable profitability

We combine profitability with responsibility by developing smart products, supporting fair working conditions, engaging our people and reducing impact from transports and production.

Long-term value

Sustainability supports long-term profitability. It reduces risk, builds customer loyalty and creates new opportunities for long-term growth.

Governance model

Sustainability at Bergman & Beving is rooted in our values and how we run our business. The Board of Directors sets the overall direction through strategy, policies and group-wide sustainability goals. Group management prioritizes the work, follows up on progress and evaluates results.

Our business units take initiative by setting their own targets and turning strategy into action, while employees play a key role in day-to-day execution and continuous improvement. This shared responsibility ensures sustainability is part of decisions and actions across the entire organization.
